A day to remember...

A moment of silence for all those lost this sad day 4 years ago...

I can remember being at work and hearing the news and not believing any of it. Even after seeing the towers on the scrambled tv that we had tryed to tune in at work. Listening to the radio when the flight went down in PA. All still so unreal in my mind.
I remember calling Ian at work to get his thoughts on the whole issue. Ironic now that one of my first thoughts was of ian's brother (knowing that he was a Marine). I asked Ian if he had talked to him, and asked him to call him to find out "WTF is going on!" Ironic, now because today Keith is in Iraq, fighting for that same freedom we all breifly lost that day. I'm greatful everyday for those who protect us here in our homeland and those who are sacrificing and protecting us from over seas.
No matter what your political views, know that those fighting in Iraq are indeed fighting for our safety and freedom. They are sacrificing all they have here at home, thier families, their homes, their comfort, their lives, all so that we may never have to feel that horrible feeling, that fear, that many of us felt that horrible morning.
