Ok, so I've been gone for a week....let's see, what have you missed?
NOTHING!!!
Yuck! I've been away for work, traveling from town to town helping out and whatnot. Boring work stuff, no place exciting.
On...ummm.. I thik it was Monday, last week I got up to take a shower only to get in with VERY little water pressure. Hurry up to was my hair and have the water stop...completely stop! Mid rinse! Shit! So I go in and wake Ian up, he of course blames the no water on my shower routine of letting the water run for a good 3 minutes before I move. We check the pressure tank, trip the power circuit breaker and before I left for work the water seemed to be working again.
We get home and there is no water. I mean none!! Nothing but empty faucets. We call around to all the plumbers in the phone book but no one will come out until the next morning...great! Thank God we have one of those Culligan water tank thingys in the basement that holds a 5 gallon tank. We used that to brush our teeth, wash up and to drink.
The next day the plumber came and discovered that our well pump was shot. Well, to make a long story short, $1200 later, we have water!
A night or 2 before the well pump broke we booked a trip to Mexico. So much for having a little extra money!
My cousin is getting married May 20th (I'm in the wedding) we booked a hotel for the night of the wedding, since the wedding is in NY. The next morning we are hoppin' a flight to sunny Mexico for a week at an all inclusive resort! I can't wait!!!
So, other than that nothing new is going on. The dogs are still breaking out of the yard every couple of days, the dog warden knows them by name and is threatening us with a $92 fine if they get out again. Does anyone have any ideas on how to contain 2 wild beagles that just want to hunt and run wild through the woods? We've tried everything! We have a fenced in backyard with and invisible (one of those shock deals) fence inside that. And they still dig out! We've put a baby gate up on the deck so that they are confined to the top deck and can't get to the yard, but today Patches got out of that. Ian refuses to put them in their crate while we're at work, and if we leave them out in the house they pee all over the place. What can we do?
On another topic, AF has arrived and I've crawled further into my hole of depression. Life sucks. I hate my job, we haven't sold the house and I get asked at least once a day about us moving and if we've sold the house, which in turn makes me more miserable and depressed. Why can't we have a baby? Why can't we sell our house? It's just not fair! Pity party over here!
It doesn't make sense for Ian and I to go and get tested and everything when we could up and leave in a coupe of months. We might as well just wait until we are back in NY and find new doctors, and start all over. I just hate waiting and every month is more and more depressing.
Ugh...enough of this pitty party, I'm going to go do some laundry, yippee!!
I hope everyone is having a better week than me...oh wait it's only Monday *sigh*
