Time for more prayers...

Friday, July 08, 2005

The visit today didn't go as well as we all had hoped it would. Unfortunatly the baby is still at risk and there is a good chance that I will have a miscarrage. In the ultrasound today we could still see the bleeding that is behind the pregnancy sack but for some reason the actual bleeding has indeed stopped and I guess has clotted for now. The bean on the other hand, has still not grown. The doc had in my charts that it was just about 5mm last time and this time we measured in at only 4-4.5mm so it really is probably exactly the same as it was last week. More bad news, the heart rate has slowed down. It's much too slow right now compared to what it should be, but it's definately still beating. All we really can do at this point is pray for the best. Ian and I have decided that we are not going to give up hope. We go back again on Tuesday for another ultrasound. I'm still feeling fine physically so let's hope everything turns around. Off to bed for me until Tuesday....

The weekend went by great! No problems! I'm on a good, almost 4 day stretch right now with no problems. Of course I haven't done anything either. No lifting, no twisting, no bending too much, no jumping, no running, no anything! Pretty much just eating and sleeping for me. I'm extremely tired ALL the time! UUGGH! I need some energy. So hopefully everything is still going well inside with the bean 'cause I feel fine, except for the neasea, but I guess that's normal. We go Friday for the next ultrasound to make sure everything is good. Hopefully, the bleeding has healed and is gone by then.

On a much brighter note, my friend
Michele gave birth to a beautiful baby boy this morning @ 9:34am. He weighed in at 6lbs 8oz. and was 19 1/4" He's SO adorable! she has a blog they just started a few weeks ago so check her out! Hopefully we'll be able to get his pics up on her site soon. I'll see if I can post some of him tonight. I'll also post my new ultrasound pic from last Friday, still doesn't look like much but, you can see the bean you've all been so kindly praying for. Thanks for everything!
