For the beautiful flowers!
I was hating my job pretty badly today and just really wanting to leave. It's not really my "job" as much as it is the people I work with. I just really can't stand them! I can't stand being asked a million and one questions all day long, telling everyone else what they should do and helping them with their jobs because they are too damn lazy to figure it out them selves or ask their boss for help. For some reason they all seem to think that I am the boss and can tell them not only what to do but how to do it and when to do and so on and so forth. I'm not the boss! I don't care what you do! Now leave me alone so I can do MY job! I used to love helping other people out and giving my advise and thoughts, but it's just gotten way to out of hand. I've actually been telling people to stop. If the boss tells you to do something and you don't know what he's talking about or how to do it, then F'ing ask HIM!! Don't come running to me as soon as you get off the phone with him and ask me what he was talking about! UGH! It's times like this that make me realize why the boss lets me write my own schedule and come and go as I please. 97% of the rest of the staff are complete morons and need you to practically wipe their ass for them when they take a shit!
Ummm, yeah that's pretty much how I felt when I showed up to bring Ian lunch and then immediately left with out saying much more than 5 words. Sorry babe! All I really said was I love you and then I hate my job! I felt the tears welling up so I just left and he saw it. An hour later there was a delievery for me! He even had the card signed DH, lol. He's too cute!

Not sure exactly what it is, maybe it was this....
Picture if you will, little ol me a whole 5'3" driving the Avalanche to work. It's icy. I pull in the parking lot, (aka ice skating rink!) gather all my stuff up and finish listening to the song that was on. I open the door and go to hop out.....I swear my feet never hit the ground! They went straight up over my head and down I went! Boom! On to my arse and elbows! OUCH!!! I'm in some kinda pain! All bruised and battered. Thankful that no one was around to witness this fiasco. Everything I had in my hands went flying. I still had some photofetti from my mom's surprise party in my purse and of course it all came flying out! Sorry mom!
So there I am trying to gather up all my stuff and picking up all the little pictures of my mom's face all over the parking lot, again, sorry mom, LOL.
I'm not sure what it is I think the fall might have knocked something loose, but I've been in a great mood all day! Normally I would be miserable. I hate the people at my job, I hate living in CT, and AF came yesterday! Another month of disappointment. Oh well! I'll just deal with it!
I finally got the treadmill I wanted and have started to use it. Ian and I have started a competition with a mile race where we have to beat each others time. He went first and then I beat him! Hehehe! Bragging rights. I won't post our times because I couldn't handle the ridicule that Keith would dish out. (Mr. 14 mile run in the desert man!) It was bad to say the least, but hey, you have to start somewhere right? I stayed on the treadmill for 38 minutes tonight! Go me! Boy will I be sorry tomorrow. (And yes Ian and Keith, the treadmill was on! I was running...well, speed walking too in intervals)
So here's my new outlook...Every month that comes and goes with out a BFP is yet another month to get healthier and fitter. For both of us. I'm not looking to lose weight, just get back in shape.
Here's a fear I have about working out....give me your opinion or expertise....
I am naturally thin, always have been. It's in the genes. (Thanks Mom and Dad!) I've never had to work out or watch what I eat. I eat junk food all the time. I'm always hungry, always eating and never exercising. So if I start exercising now, will my body counter act all those wonderful genes I inherited? So, if I stop exercising...say 6 months from now, and eat what I want the way I always have....will I get fat? Or will my metabolism kick it back up?

:: JANUARY01. Did you have a new year's resolution this year? No, I'm a procrastinator, so...why bother?
02. Does it snow where you live? They call is snow, but it's really like slush falling from the sky, yuck! I'd rather have snow than this shit!
03. Do you like hot chocolate? Yummers!! Especially with whipped cream or a big 'ol scoop of Fluff!
04. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop? Never. Been to Times Square once but never during New Year's.
05. How did you celebrate New Years this year? With some great friends from home (NY) at the Hard Rock Cafe in Foxwoods.
:: FEBRUARY01. Who was your Valentine in 2005? Same guy since 2000...um yup, the Hubby!
02. What did you get your Valentine? I made him a card that had a cheesy heart on the front and I made a collage of pictures of us as kids and put them on the heart, him on one half and me on the other. Then wrote a corny little poem for the inside and put a pic of the 2 of us together.
03. What did your Valentine get you? OMG! He's the best! He set up a scavenger hunt with 12 clues that were all poems and spread through out the house and outside and I went from one to the other until I found the X in the back yard and dug up a capsule that had yet another poem/love letter inside and a beautiful Claudah bangle bracelet! He's AWESOME!
04. When you were little, did you buy Valentines for your whole class? absolutely! Who didn't? My favorite part was decorating the "mail box" that we each made for others to put our Valentines in.

02. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day? Absolutely!
03. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2005? Ummm....I don't remember? Probably had some green drinks with Ian
:: APRIL 01. Do you like the rain? Only when it's hot out. Not cold rain. I love thunderstorms and hard down pours.
02. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year? I'm sure I played a few, nothing I can remember though.
03. Do you get tons of candy on Easter? Mostly just those Reese's Eggs, They are my FAVORITE!
:: MAY 01. What's your favorite kind of flower? daisy's or lily's
02. Do you like the spring? Yes, the warm weather coming back is refreshing, and the days get longer, that makes me happy :)
03. April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? My birthday!! My best friends birthday, My SIL's birthday, Bruno's birthday, and Patches birthday! Lots of Birthdays, lol.
04. What would you think of as a spring color? Yellow, green, anything pastel.
:: JUNE 01. What year did you graduate from high school? 1999
02. Did you go on any vacations last June? No, we went in April, March and August.

02. Did you go on any vacations during this month? No, but I worked part time, while Scott came to live with us and was in Summer camp.
:: AUGUST 01. Do you do anything special to end off your summer? Ummm, cry? What's there to celebrate? The days get shorter, the work gets longer, and the temp gets colder :(
02. What was your favorite summer memory of '05? Our trip to Oregon. Ian and I were spoiled and had the time of our lives. Amazing!
03. Do you go swimming a lot in the summer? Not as much as I'd like to.
04. Do you go to the beach a lot? As often as we can. More so than ever before. That's the one thing we'll miss the most when we move back to NY. (Besides of course, our CT friends)
:: SEPTEMBER 01. Did you attend school/college in '05? Nope.
02. Who is/was your favorite teacher? Mr. McHugh, 4th Grade. Loved him! No, really....I did, LOL.
03. Do you like fall better than summer? Tough choice...I love the warm weather of Summer, but...the warm Fall days with the smell of the leaves, sleeping outside cuddled up on the trampoline in the middle of the day with the cool air blowing in.....nothing beats that
:: OCTOBER 01. What was your favorite Halloween costume ever? When I was little my mom made me this home made clown costume with three big pom pom thingys on the front, I loved it!
02. What's your favorite candy? Umm, for Halloween, it would be the pumpkin Reese's and Mounds bars.
03. What did you dress up like this year? Ummm, a 24 year old wife and step-mom.
:: NOVEMBER 01. Whose house do you usually go to for Thanksgiving? My parents
02. Do you like stuffing? Ummmm yummy!
03. What are you thankful for? My friends and family, and my life in general.
:: DECEMBER 01. Do you celebrate Christmas? Very much so.
02. Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe? Yes, by my hubby at my parents house last year.
03. What do you want this year for Christmas? A house in NY and a baby.
04. What's the best present you ever got for Christmas? Last year, 2004, Ian wrote me a Christmas letter with the twelve reasons he loves me(instead of the 12 days of Christmas) Each reason had a gift that corresponded. It was the SWEETEST thing and I was in tears the whole time.
05. Do you like cold weather? Absolutely not! I like snow, but I
hate the cold.

So it begins...

Welcome to 2006! We had a great day off yesterday and New years went well, however the pics we took came out aweful so I won't be posting any of those, lol. Maybe I can crop them up and salvage a little bit of them.
I can't believe it's 8 o'clock already! I feel like I just got home! Where does the time go? Ugh, I have so much stuff to do and there is just never enough time. First things first, I have to finish cleaning the carmel apple shots off the floor from Ian and Justin. They were very sloppy New Year's eve and now the floors are all sticky.
The puppies are all doing well and growing VERY fast! I can't believe how much bigger they look already. They won't open their eyes for another 3 weeks yet so all the pictures would probably look the same if I were to posst them. I'll post a few here and there, but I'll try not to over do it. LOL They are the joy of our life right now. Ian gets home from work and we just sit in the room with them and stare at them and laugh at all there silly ways and their developing personalities. It's sad knowing that this will be her last litter :(
This is the depressing part of the month for me when I find out yet again that I'm still not pregnant. It hasn't happened yet, but I have a feeling that the disappointment is definatly coming. The only up side is that I will be leaving for Florida a week from Friday!! WoooHoooo! I can't wait! It's going to be SO much fun!
Ok, I guess that's it for now, back to cleaning, then off to bed....
