Bye bye baby boy :( One puppy gone today. He was my favorite, he loves to cuddle and be loved. The good news is that he went to a family member so we'll still get to see him on event which will be nice.

The adventures of the home owners....
Last night Ian tried to turn the heat on but couldn't get it to work. We have electric heat upstairs and a fireplace downstairs so it wasn't that big of a deal for the night. This morning we got up and decided to try and figure out what the problem was. We tinkered around for about 30-45 minutes trying not to blow the whole house up, but nothing. So I called my Dad and he tried to walk us through it over the phone. Still no success. Then Dad made the 1 hour and a half ride out to our house to try and help. The three of us worked on it for awhile, no luck. Then Ian's parents and grandmother came over. They tried to "help." Still no luck. I had called the oil company hours ago for someone to come out and help but they still weren't here. We gave up.
Finally the owner of the oil company comes to the house, turns 2 knobs and presto it's fixed. Literally, it took about 10 seconds! He stuck around to make sure that everything ran fine and answered alot of our questions, but man, don't you hate it when you work hours on something then someone comes along and with 2 twists fixes the whole problem? The worst part was that we had all figured out what "must"be wrong, but we couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Oh well, we have it wall worked out now. It's all good.

Ian took the deck off the back of the house today too. We're hoping to get our new door in this week and have the contractor out to fix it all up for us. Right now Ian and Scott are downstairs in the basement building their "Man's Room's" They plan to each have their own game rooms with a window in between them so they can see each other and hook up their computers down there.

So that's it my friends that is the highlight of our lives for the entire last month! Pretty boring right? I have some good stuff to blog about coming up in a couple of weeks (Maybe more like 4) it's just not ready yet, but trust me it will be well worth the wait.

Oh, I almost forgot. When the in-laws left it began to snow really hard. Ian and I ran out in to the yard and frolicked through the field yelling "It's snowing, It's snowing!" and laughing our asses off. I'm pretty sure that we belong in the nut house somewhere. Our neighbors must have thought that it was the first time we had ever seen snow. After we put the 4 wheelers away and closed up the barn, we frolicked back to the house and got Scott. We rushed him to get ready and come outside, then we frolicked again. He thought we were insane for the first couple of minutes but then he joyfully joined in! We are a crazy family!!! NUTS!!!

Beautiful day

Today was the reason I love fall so much. It was beutiful, sunny and just an overall fun day. We played outside most of the day (by we I mean me and the puppies)
Today is Ian and my 2 year anniversary! Unfortunatly, he's working all day but we did manage to grab lunch together and go out and buy a new sliding glass door. (Fun stuff people!) We went out a few nights ago to seee the movie Employee of the Month. Very funny if you've ever worked in retail.

So that's it for today, I'll leave you with some more pics of the babies, they're just too cute!!
