Well, yesterday was certainly one of the most exciting days I've had in a long time. I was just so happy yesterday and good things seemed to just keep happening. First, Keith is home!!!! Finally he's here and back with his family rebonding with his beautiful baby girl and his beautiful bride. I'm so happy for them all and we are all extremely proud of Keith and the sacrifices he and his Marines and their families have all made for us. We love you Keith! Welcome Home!
For those of you who follow Jewl's blog, I'm sure she'll be out of commission for a while and I wasn't sure if she would be able to post any pics of Keith's homecoming so I decided I'd give ya a little something. Here they are all back together again, we couldn't be happier to see them all together.
Second... My best friend is PREGO!!! I can't believe it! I'm so excited for her and Chris and .....me!! She'll be due around Thanksgiving and I'm already trying to figure out how I can get out to South Dakota to be with her for the delivery. As long as I'm not prego myself, I am definatley going to be out there when she has this baby!!! I just know that there is no way that I can wait until Christmas to see them!
Is this going to be the cutest baby ever or what! Congratulations Chris and Ev!! I can't wait to be a new Aunt again!
Evelyn does have a blog that she started back when they first decided to try and get pregnant, but she's not the best at keeping it up. She has updated it to tell us all the great news and I'm hoping that she'll use it throughout the pregnancy to vent her frustrations and keep us all updated on what's going on. I'm sure if you all pop over and leave her some comments and encouragement than she will be more likely to keep it updated and she will enjoy all your advice and shared experiences.
Third, Scott got in his first fight at school today!! OMG! This kid is so not a fighter so I was just absolutley shocked when we got the phone call. Apparently some kid went running down the hall and pushed him in the back and kept running and said "Oh, sorry." and laughed as he walked away. Scott was like whatever and just kind of shrugged it off. Then later in the day they were outside at school and the same kid did it again! He wasn't going to let some other kid push him around, so Scott pushed back and the other kid turned around and punched him in the face! Apparently, this kid is smaller than Scott and Scott's friends told him to just let it go and he wasn't worth it. So that's what Scott did, but a teacher saw the whole thing and turned the puncher into the principle. Scott got sent home early and the other kid has in-school suspension. Scott was just defending himself from teh other kid, so he didn't get in any trouble with the school.
Phew, what a day! Scott is doing ok now, complaining a little bit about his jaw hurting but doing well over all.

Look what Hubby just ordered me for my birthday!!!! I'm So excited I just can't wait. I'll be waiting by the door for FedEx everyday until it get's here. He's hooked me up, the camera (Fuji s9000) a 2G memory card, 2 lenses, 2 tripods, 2 cases, a cleaning kit, and card reader!!! OMG! I'm so lucky!
Great idea Stace, convincing him to get it for me early so that I can learn how to use it before vacation! I'm so siked!

I really want to take a photography course and learn more...since I really don't know anything (I'm a point and click kind of girl) Now I really want to learn it all. I love pictures and would really love to be able to take some great ones.
Right now I'm still in Georgia and working my butt off! It's not all that hot here. Definatley warmer than the northeast, but apparently colder for Georgia locals...I think it's about 68 degrees.
Only 2 episodes left of the Shield!!! I love this show!!! Gotta Go!
