Where does the time go?

Thursday, January 19, 2006

I've been home since Monday night and I swear I haven't had 2 minutes free the whole time! Why does everything always seem to pile up all at once?

Florida was a great time. It was kind of chilly though. Us New Yorkers all packed like we were going to some tropical resort, come to find out the temps for the weekend were only in the 50's! Burrrr! The funny part was that when we were flying back into NY the temp was 5 degrees! Yeah, that's right 5. None of us had brought warm jackets and since we froze all weekend in 50 degree weather I thought for sure that we were all doomed. But, it actually didn't feel that bad. For some reason 5 degree's in NY in January isn't all that rough, but 50 degree's in Florida is a damn tundra!LOL

I was going to do a nice post with links and all but since the only time I have is while I'm here at work and I have a million things to do here as well...no links. Sorry.
The first day we went to see Circus Du Soiele (Umm, yeah...I can't spell it, I have no clue and no time to look it up so hopfully you all know what I'm trying to say.) It was incredible! I can't wait to bring Ian to see this! It was AWESOME! The only problem is that it will totally ruin any acrobatics act you see from that point on. Mary and I made the mistake of seeing the Lion King performance at Animal Kingdom on Sunday and it was like watching a bunch of beginners, lol. Still enjoyable, but not nearly comparable.
We went to Epcot on Saturday and I was like a kid in a candy store! I got my pic taken with Mickey and Goofy, then Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and even some princesses along the way. It was great! The fireworks show was amazing! (Even though we watched it from inside the gift shop because it was absolutly FREEZING out side!

Sunday we split up and Mary and I went to Animal Kingdom for the day. We had a blast running around, seeing all the sights and just enjoying ourselves. The 4 of us met back up for dinner in Downtown Disney and had a few much needed drinks before dinner.

It was sad to have it go buy so quick but it was definatly worth it and I think we all had a great time and can't wait to go back.

On the home front....
The puppies have learned how to escape the box...so that has been an adventure. I came home and 4 of them were in the box, the other 4 were in Patches create sleeping soundly. Lol, they are just SO cute!
Ian brought them home a new box which looks like a mansion compared to the old one so they are loving that.
Patches is letting Bruno be more of an active father these days. He's allowed to help with clean up and all and he just sits and watches her as she nurses. They are just the cutest puppy parents ever!
The pups are all starting to get there personalities and it is just amazing to watch!

Well, that's it for now, I have to get back to work...it never ends around here!

TTFN!

Well, we're back from FL. Had a great time. Not much time to post right now, but I posted some of the picks from Orlando in the flicker if you want to check them out. I'll try to make a real post soon....

Miss ya!
