:(
Well, it's time.
All our puppies are going home! I had taken a picture for an "And then there were 3" post, because we had 3 left but before I got a chance to post it they were all taken! They went to the vet on Monday and all got there check ups and physicals and everyone is perfect! They still have to wait another week and a half to get there first shot, but they have been weened for 3 weeks and have been on straight dry puppy chow and water for 2 weeks so they are ready for their new homes. 3 of them went home late last night, one is being picked up tonight and the 2 that were left will be bought tonight by 2 girls who are VERY excited to come and get them! LOL. The other 2 will be going to a home in NY so they have to wait until we can get them back up there.
It's sad leaving them, but at the same time it's such a stress relief! I'm sure I won't be able to sleep for the next week because I'm so used to them waking me up, but now they'll be gone :(
Bruno and Patches will be happy to be the center of attention again. Now I have to make the leap to go get Bruno fixed. Poor guy. I just really think it meeds to be done. Ian and Scott both want to have more puppies, but Patches really needs a break and we can't seem to be responsible enough to keep them apart when she's in heat. It's just not fair to her or her body. I don't want to risk her life to have more pups. She's only a year and a half and she's already had 2 litters! That's crazy! The girl needs a break! Plus, the new house that we're looking at, the previous owners have a dog and I don't want Bruno spreading his scent everywhere if we go there. Do you think the snip will help?
No news on our house yet. We had someone come and look at it twice but no offers. I hope we get more interest this weekend!
What is everyone's opinion on Open Houses? I'm not sure that they do any good. I think that if nothing else it just bring about more potential customers for our agent, not necessarily on our home, and nosey neighbors that just want to see what we've done with our house and how much we're asking for it. I understand that it creates more traffic in and out of our home and may create more word of mouth interest, but does it really get you a deal? Is it really worth it? Or is it more about just people snooping through your stuff with no real interest in your home?
what's your opinion?
Sara, have you done an open house yet? How's your sale going? I've been so busy, I'll try to email you later...
Have a good week everyone!
