Mr. Wonderful

Thursday, November 03, 2005

Well, as Stacie put it "The most blogged about man I know" Here he is everyone, once again, Mr. Wonderful.

I must agree, Ian is one of the most wonderful people I know. (Is that gramatically correct? Is it people or person? Persons? Umm, not sure...sorry) He is truly my motivation, my life, and my heart. Stop over to Stacie's site to hear a little more about him.

(this pic's for you Keith. He's playing COD 2 and I made it so that the screen is in color, unfortunatly you can see the new and inproved graphics in the pic. And Keith....no nasty comments! We're not starting that again...)

Now don't get me wrong ladies...I know that Ian feels that he has a "Blog world" reputation to uphold, but keep in mind that this man does not know how to fold a shirt, or pants, or hang them for that matter, can not remember that Tuesday is trash day, and doesn't have a clue as to how to handle the finances or how to even access our accounts via our online banking, or what our bills are for that matter!

But in the big scheme of things..he is with out a doubt, the most loving, caring, supporting, and cherished man I know. I never in a million years would have thought that I could find my soul mate, my best friend, the one person who truely understands everything about me, the one person who truely knows me, the one person in my life that there is no cover, no front, no acting with I am absolutely myself wholey and completely with him! I love him!! Ian is the best!!

Ok, ok, enough mushy, I love my husband talk...My poor little buddy Xander is sick this week :(
Stop over and wish him well, and check out his new pics...he's a beautiful boy!!

Also there is a new video of my adorable, camera hating neice on Mary's blog. Go see how cute she is!

And Some asshole at the grocery store made my beautiful sister in law feel a little...umm...less that perfect. Stop over and let her know how beautiful she truley is! She's one of the strongest women I know, and she's beautiful!

A day late and an hour early!

Monday, October 31, 2005

Who knew this time change thing could be so difficult?
Yesterday was fine we had the hour thing all worked out...except....our bedroom clock!
I set the alarm last night and we were up bright and early at 6:30am. Ian had to work 8am-10pm and I was going in for 8-5pm.

All is going well until, I walk into work...see the first clock 6:53am.....second clock, 6:53am.....huh?....third clock 6:54am.....and finally, the fifth clock.....6:54am!!

(The whole time someone at work is talking to me and I'm half listening, trying to get to my desk and only half seeing all these clocks!)

Finally I say, "Holy shit! It's really 7 o'clock isn't it?"

Meanwhile, the person talking to me was apparently in deep conversation (with me) and didn't realize that I obviously wasn't listening to him! So as I abruptly interupted him with this question,

He says- "What? Umm, well yeah. Why?"
Me- "Oh shit! I have to call Ian!"

Calling Ian.....

Ring, Ring, Ring...
Ian-"Mmmmmmnnn, hello?"
Me-"Hehehe it's only 7!"
Ian-"Mmmnn, yeah...."
Me-"Oopps?"
Ian-"Umm, yeah!"
Me-"Sorry babe!"
Ian-"Thanks!"

Again sorry babe!

Hope you all had a great halloween, don't forget about that pesky time change thing!! LOL

Happy Halloween

Sunday, October 30, 2005

So, I hope everyone is haveing a great Halloween weekend! Yesterday we carved up our pumpkin. I'm not sure if I told you the story about Scott's pumpkin or not so I'll tell it again.

Two weeks ago when we went to the Pumpkin patch with Mom, Mike, Mary and the kids, there was a water balloon sling shot contest. In this you had to get the water balloon through a small hole in a wooden cut out of a pumpkin or a ghost. Scott was determined to win his pumpkin! So...about $40 later, while everyone except for Ian and Scott had taken the hayride over to the pumpkin patch to pick out our goodies, Scott WON!!! So that's the "Great Pumpkin Story."

When carving the pumpkin, Scott had said that he wanted to do it "free-hand" no patterns, no traditional ideas, just whatever he wanted. So I decided...Sure why not?

Well, here you have it...check out the pics below of Scotty's masterpiece! LOL. It's supposed to be some kind of ninga Kirby? You can only see his mask because the rest of him is...and I quote, "Covered in some kind of armour stuff." So that's it! Just the mask, with 2 tiny little eyes! Then he decided that he would carve a skull with flames and a ghost on the side. Then he carved out the word "Boo" Which is my personal favorite!.

He had a blast doing it and that's really what matters most. We certainly have an original creation, that could only be created by Scott himself! I love it!

Last night we went to "SeaScare" at the aquarium. It was Awesome!! We had a blast. Scott got to run around in his costume and get a bunch of candy, play a bunch of games and we saw a Halloween Sea Lion show! The show was based on a Harry Potter theme so Scott loved that too. They had a haunted house in the muesum that was a Titanic theme..It was soo cool! I was totally freaked out! I think we all were. It was even more scary because we were the only 3 walking through it at the time! AWESOME!

Scott was some kind of grim reaper type guy but he wouldn't wear the mask because iit was bugging him and then he took the hood down too and all he had left was the big ass medallion and his black suit...at times he looked more like a pimp than any kind of scary guy! LOL.
It was freezing cold and raining outside and we all stood out side to watch some treasure hunt spooky story where some guy dove with the Belluga whales to get the treasure out from the bottom of the "sea". It was fun...but cold...and wet....but fun! I feel like crap today! I'm pretty sure it's just a cold, bit yuck! I feel gross!

That's it for now, I hope that this post makes sense because I'm only half paying attention to what I'm writing and I don't feel good. Ianis watching some "Amazing events caught on tape" or something on SPIKE TV and I keep watching that and losing my place here. So, well ok, I' going now!
Check out the random pics below...sorry they're not in order :(
Enjoy your Sunday!
