Happy Days

Today is truly a happy day. The first in a long time it feels.

Last night was an old friends wedding and was just the thing I needed to get back to being me. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony. It was set up great and the bride was absolutely beautiful!
Last week was the most stressful week for Ian and Friday marked the end...or at least a break from some of the stress and being able to go out and have some fun and introduce him to some of the girls I grew up with, was just what we needed.

It was so nice to see some old friends and reunite. It was amazing for me to see how much are personalities have stayed the same and how we all still just click when we're together.

I find it funny that it seems once you leave high school, or college, or a job...whatever, and you don't see those same people everyday, you almost immediately think that they don't remember any of the stuff that you remember. I love hearing old friends memories and knowing that they remember the same silly stuff that I do from when we were younger.

I wish I had pictures to share but I wasn't prepared and my batteries were dead! I was so upset. Hopefully I'll get some pics emailed to me and I can share some then.

Driving home today I just felt such peace and happiness. I called Ian at work and told him that I just felt happy today and he agreed that he did too. It was nice to finally be happy again.

I picked Bruno and Patches up from the kennel this afternoon and I am now positive that she is preggers. After not seeing her for 2 days and then picking her up I could see that she had put on weight in just 2 days. I went to the pet store and hooked her up with her favorite toy, some new treats and her calcium pills. Looks like we'll be having beagle babies around the second week of August.
