Country Living

I know I said we live in the country, but I saw this yesterday and just had to share with all of you. You know your in the country when people are driving their horse and buggy to WAl*Mart.
Now to get to our house you drive through a little village and a bunch of old country back roads and we're in the dead middle of farm country. However, Ian, Scott and I just found a whole town that is about 10 minutes from the house and they have quite a few stores and restaurants and all that kind of stuff. Kind of like East Greenbush, for those of you who know. Nothing major, but it has enough to get you buy. Utica is about 20-25 minutes away and the mall is 30 to 45 minutes. Pretty similar to how Ian and I both grew up if you think about it.

We've been busy the last couple weeks with family and friends visiting. We have about 90% of the painting done now, just the dining room and the upstairs hallway to do now. We should have the hallway done by the end of today.

Well, that's it for now..back to work.
